29-08-2010 IPT ends, Tayla Western Province finish 3rd
A good, hard and competitive week of hockey has come to an end. For the second year running Western Province fell short in the semi finals. We faced Northern's in the first of the two semi finals. We lost 3-2 despite earning a penalty corner in the dying seconds of the match, only to see it reversed incorrectly by the far side umpire.

We met Southern Gauteng once more, this time for 3rd and 4th place. A converted corner from myself was the only goal in the game, and it gave us something to take back to Cape Town.
